What is TGN Mathematics Mastery Live?
TGN Mathematics Mastery Live™ is the flagship public-facing Masterclass programme of TGN Education — a premium, teacher-led Mathematics experience for Grade 10–12 learners. It is designed to help learners identify what they need to master, build the mathematical methods required to solve it, demonstrate their understanding, and retain what they have learned.
Hosted at The Maslow Sandton, each three-hour Masterclass focuses on one priority Mathematics topic identified by TGN Education according to learner needs, academic performance, academic priorities and the examination calendar.
The TGN Mastery Framework
Every Masterclass follows a structured three-hour framework.
Hour 1
Deep Dive & Learning Objectives
Learners explore the core concepts, principles and learning objectives through focused teacher-led instruction.
Hour 2
Mastery & Collaborative Assessment
Learners apply their understanding through individual mastery assessments and collaborative problem-solving. Facilitators identify misconceptions, gaps and different solution methods.
Hour 3
Concept Feedback & Reinforcement
Facilitators respond to the assessment findings, provide targeted feedback, reinforce key concepts and strengthen learners' ability to apply the methods independently.
The Masterclass then extends beyond the three hours through targeted resources and a 48–72-hour retention component, allowing TGN to check whether learning has been retained.
How It Works
- 1. TGN sets the academic programme. Topics are determined by identified learner needs and the academic calendar.
- 2. Parents choose a session. Select from TGN's published dates and available weekend sessions below.
- 3. Learners are prioritised. Where necessary, learners are prioritised according to upcoming assessments and examinations so the Masterclass reaches them when it can have the greatest academic impact.
- 4. Your invoice is issued instantly. Pay within 7 working days to confirm the booking — earlier is preferred to reserve the slot.
